Tutoring Services and Experience
I received an honours BA from the University of Waterloo in English Literature and Rhetoric in 2009 and a Master's of Science in Adolescent Education in 2010.

I have experience teaching English at the Jr. high and high school levels. I also have experience tutoring students from grades seven to twelve and ESL students.

I provide Proofreading and editing of various types of work (essays, short stories, resumes, poetry etc.) at any academic level. I can also assist students in the writing process.

When tutoring, I begin with a twenty minute introduction session in which we, the student and I, get to know each other. We discuss the projects and goals the student has for their tutoring sessions and how they learn best (learning styles: visual, auditory, kinesthetic). This introductory session is free and is an opportunity to see if my tutoring style is a good fit for the student.

Tutoring sessions can take place in person or online (through Skype). Proofreading and editing work can also be in person, online or via email.
