I have been teaching English full-time for over 18 years. I am from Vancouver and I have also taught for 9 years in Japan, working at Waseda University in Tokyo and at other schools such as AEON and CTS Nichibei. I also as a private tutor for ESL students and native English speakers.

$30 per hour for private lessons, $10 more for every extra 30 minutes.

I have experience teaching all skill levels. I can help you with:

-novel, poetry, and film studies

I have a double-major degree in English literature and film from UBC. Two of my favourite hobbies are enjoying books and movies from around the world. I have lived in other countries so I understand the challenges of learning a foreign language. I am confident I can help you.

I can meet you at a cafe or other public place in Vancouver, especially downtown and near Joyce-Collingwood Skytrain Station. My rate is $30 per hour ($40 for 90 minutes). The first meeting (30 minutes) is free.
