I am a native English speaker, and have lived in the Lower Mainland of BC my whole life. I love helping people understand things more clearly, and I love language.
In April, 2013, I completed my TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) Certificate. In the program, I was given training in teaching English reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I was also given specific training in tutoring English as an additional language. Since then, I have worked in ESL classrooms, as well as in one-on-one, teaching and tutoring people in the different aspects of the English language.
I would love to help you to understand and communicate in English. I understand that each learner has different needs, so instead of telling you what you need, please contact me so we can figure out a time and place that works for you to meet for a needs assessment.
