Tutoring Services and Experience
Anton is an experienced and hardworking math tutor. He's been tutoring math and chess for 6 years. Many of his students won numerous awards in math competitions including math kangoroo and mathcounts. I provide in-classroom lessons as well as private in-house sessions.
I enjoy helping young children to develop math skills, in particular to enhance creativity, problem solving, critical thinking, decision making, memory, concentration, intellectual maturity, and self esteem. I believe that math heightens the thinking process and helps children to develop into better critical thinkers, problem solvers and decision makers. I believe that math has helped me and that's why every child should be exposed to the same opportunities.
How does Anton teach teach math?
His lessons usually include an idea/topic explanation, and work on practical skills often using direct calculations or Microsoft excel. Students usually get handouts with questions and problems and get access to on-line materials. Anton is usually well prepared and use individual approach to make sure students really improve.
