Tutoring Services and Experience
I am a SFU Graduate Student currently doing my PhD in inorganic chemistry and I am offering general, analytical and inorganic chemistry tutoring for any level up to graduate school (i.e. 4th year undergraduate).
I completed my BSC in 2008 and my Masters in 2010 and have 6 years of experience as a Teaching Assistant in various labs and courses. I also have 6 years of experience tutoring students needing my help in general, inorganic and analytical chemistry.
The rates for my service is 25$ per hour per person. My schedule is flexible and I am available most afternoons and evenings. I ask that a session lasts a minimum of 1.5 hours and be held in a public location.
I tutor the following courses (and equivalents from other Universities and Colleges such as UBC, Douglas College, Langara College, Trinity Western, etc.):
Grade 11 Chemistry
Grade 12 Chemistry
University level courses (SFU codes):
Chem 110/110 - Introductory Chemistry
Chem 121 - General Chemistry and laboratory
Chem 122 - General Chemistry II
Chem 215 - Introduction to Analytical Chemistry
Chem 230 - Inorganic Chemistry
Chem 236 - Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory
Chem 332 - The Chemistry of Transition Metals
Unfortunately, this semester I am not allowed to tutor Chem 230 at SFU specifically (but still can tutor the equivalent from UBC) as I am the TA for that class.
If interested, please send me an email by replying to this post or contact me via text message.
