Why me?

A Masters of Statistics and Financial Engineering graduate from Schulich School of Business (Ranked number 1 business school in Canada) with a cumulative GPA of 3.9/4.0

I was a teaching assistant (TA) at York University and have extensive experience with tutoring with a wide diverse range of students.

I've been tutoring for over 5 years and with a wide range of teaching techniques to easily demonstrate complicated concepts within a short time for students. I've boosted my student's academic performance by at least 30%.

There are way too many so called "tutors" out there that give false promises. I focus on one thing. RESULTS ORIENTED. I have passion for teaching and my satisfaction comes from my students who are able to grasp complicated concepts within the shortest amount of time. To me, this is rewarding. Time is money. Why spend more when it can be done for less?

I tutor students from JK, high school, and up to year 2 in university. I can help on anything; from homework to assignments to exam preparations.

My areas of expertise are:

Math - ex. advanced functions, calculus, data management, probability, business math, proof, linear algebra 1 & 2, combinatorics, operations research, life contingencies, risk theory, regression, and more

Finance - ex. bonds, stocks, capital budgeting, WACC, TVM, interest theory, and more

Statistics - ex. Introduction to statistics, statistics for social science, and statistics for business

Physics - all topics up to grade 12

English - ex. essay writing, grammar, short stories, and more

Accounting - ex. financial and cost accounting, auditing

Software such as: Microsoft Excel and Word, Taxprep, Caseware, R, Python, and Mathlab

My rates are:

$30/hour (one to one, you come to me)
$40/hour (one to one, I come to you)

Special rates can be negotiated upon if you book multiple sessions in advance. Group bookings available upon request at discounted rates Ex. for exam preparation.
