What can I say…except thank you! You started teaching me at the beginning of Grade 9 because I had difficulty with my writing skills. Over the next four years you would become not only my tutor, but my mentor, and my friend. You not only taught me to become proficient in writing (97% on my English 12) but you taught me the hidden knowledge of space and the stars, the nature of time, and the universe of consciousness. You taught me to that a man must be strong, yet kind and compassionate, and a leader who will shine a light in the darkness. You taught me how to write essays to gain entrance to the best universities. Because of you, I will be starting at New York University in September, studying economics, before entering the Stern School of Business. I am so grateful that my father found you. My name is Henry Kwan and I have been with Professor Ron since Grade 9. Professor Ron has taught me English for 3 years. My English grade has dramatically improved over the years under his teaching and my grade has exceeded my expectations. I have graduated from High School with a 84% in English 12. This fall, I will be going to the University of British Columbia to get my Bachelor of Science. Prof Ron is also teaching my younger brother who plans to go to the California Institute of Technology.

I studied English since the beginning of 2014. It has been a great experience, and my english improved dramatically. Before his help, my english mark was around low 80s. However, after getting tutored by him, my marks went up to the low 90. For my english 10 provincial I got 86 and for grade 11 I got a 92 average in english.
Really helpul and patient. Next year in grade 12, we would be working on provincia exams and he will help me achieve my goal of getting 90 percent in provincial.

My dad is a professor at UBC. My brother and I took Provincial Exam English from Professor Ron twice a week when we were in Grade 11 and 12. We did great and learned a lot about writing exam essays My brother got into SFU and now I'm studying at UBC. Prof Ron is fantastic.

Great Professor. He helped me with my LPI exam. We only had two sessions and I've improved myself from Level 4 to Level 5. He's patient, knows the rule of the exam very well, and is very willing to help.

Professor Ron is a great tutor and he has been helping me with English for more than two years. With his help, i passed the Toefl test and got a great mark on provincial exam last year. Ron helped me to pass my toefl exam last fall. He is currently preparing me for LPI exam. Ron is a responsible and reliable tutor who has go over lots of practices and sample tests with me patiently.
Furthermore, Ron also has a very orignized teaching system which helped many students to reach their goal in a efficient way. Overall, Ron behaves towards students more like a friend than a tutor. :)

Without Ron, I might still be a high school student who is struggling with passing the Toefl exam. I was desperate when I found out that I got 18 on my writing and speaking part for my third time writing the exam. There was only two months left before the deadline of applying to Universty of Waterloo. If I failed for the forth time, I would have to wait for another year because my score would not be accepted by the top universities. Fortunately, I met Ron who tutored me for two months on my speaking and writing. He quickly figured out what my weaknesses were. I worked on each assignment seriously, trying to meet his expectations. He not only directed me on how to make fast progress, but also encouraged me. Two months later, I finally passed the exam and got 25 on writing and 26 on speaking. Now, I am a student in University of Waterloo. Ron changed my life.
