She is just excellent in teaching English. Probably the best teacher I meet with till date. Excellent skill, make the lesson much easier and very helpful.

Patricia helped my son pass English when he was in grade 9. He really liked going for his tutoring classes with her, so we kept him for the summer and another year ya week. He graduated with A in English and is now studying at the UofT. We strongly recommend Patricia.

Without a doubt, Patricia has been the best English tutor I've had so far.

Here are a few examples to prove my statement:

- She consistently repeats basic, important concepts (e.g. the Trinity of Good Writing). She doesn't constantly repeat them to make the class boring, but she reminds the students between time intervals. Just about time when the student starts forgetting, she questions the student's memory and determines whether or not the concept is still engraved. If not, she will skim through the basics again to insert the concept into the brain once again. She definitely makes important concepts unforgettable.

- She entertains the class with competitive, interesting games (e.g. WORDO - vocabulary bingo). Through Wordo, my vocabulary skills increased drastically, and in turn, it allowed me to sound more academic and professional in essays.

- When students individually work on an exercise, she turns on Baroque or Classical music that enhances concentration. It was great help!

- She takes the time to discuss current world issues with the class and allows students to share opinions, which in turn, increases the general knowledge of students - preparing them for situations (such as the SAT) where historical examples or current world issues are greatly admired.

- Last but not least (aha, it's a definite cliche that I was taught not to use in an essay), my English marks increased. She was able to grant me concrete evidence that I was improving.

I would definitely recommend her to any student.

Patricia is an excellent teacher, and has been my english tutor for almost a year. She is an extremely patient person, and would never discourage a student is any way. Her teaching style is very fun, and allows her students to be involved in the lesson, whether that being vocabulary, grammar or essay writing.

I count my blessings the day I found Patricia. The depth of her tutoring is phenomenal. She has increased my sons vocabulary, ensures that he reads a short book every week but most importantly he was able to write english essays on his own and received 5-10% higher marks than previously. All this in 4-5 months of seeing Patricia. My daughter, who is in university also sees her to improve her writing skills. She has gone from 65% to 85% on her essays. I have no doubt that Patricia would make an amazing teacher and all would be very lucky to have her. There are good teachers and there are great teachers that are never forgotten.
